Success Story #3 - Chris (not real name) first connected with the FW Day Center after being released from prison. Chris’s life has always been challenging. He has no family in the area and hasn’t had much of a support system during his life. He has never lived in a place of his own, so was unfamiliar with what renting an apartment really means. As an ex-offender finding work and housing can be extremely challenging, but Chris has worked hard to stay clean and out of trouble. Recently Chris found a job and was able to move into his very own apartment for the first time in his life. The FWDC helped him on this journey.
