Day Shelter Gala
On-going support for the Day Shelter
You do not have to leave your home. You do not have to get dressed up. You do not have to bid on an item you really don’t want or need. You do not have to eat one more rubber chicken dinner.
However, we invite you to make a contribution to help open the new Federal Way Day Shelter.
Our homeless will now have a place to take a shower, get warm, do laundry and obtain valuable resources.
This Day Shelter was organized by Sound Alliance. The participating members are: St. Vincent de Paul Parish, Salt Water Unitarian, City Vision, Valley Cities and Catholic Community Services.

What We're Raising Money For... We are trying to raise $75,000 to upgrade the selected site to meet the opening requirements:
Additional access points Shower/restroom - ADA equiped Laundry equipment - Commercial grade washers dryers Kitchen equipment: coffee maker refrigerator freezer stove dishwasher Furniture Computers and periferal equipment Storage room Plumbing and electrical work for all of the above
